KOINONIA Alumni Present Donation - The Northern Alliance for Temporary Housing
Members of the KOINONIA Alumni, Family and Friends held a Polar Bear Plunge in February to help raise funds for the local homeless shelter project. Some of the members are shown here presenting Sue Abrams of the Northwood’s Alliance for Temporary Housing (NATH) with a check for $1,150.00.
This donation is one of the first in the “100 give $1000” fundraising campaign proposed by NATH to help raise the needed funds to purchase, remodel and open a local homeless shelter here in Oneida County. They are seeking 100 donations from individuals, organizations or corporations of $1000.00 to help fund this needed transitional facility within our community. Anyone wishing to help in this regard should contact NATH’s Executive Director Bill Miller at 715-369-9404 or the fundraising Chair Sue Abrams at 715-369-0628.
KOINONIA Alumni, Family and Friends would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the following local businesses and individuals for their donations towards this fundraiser as well as the general public for your attendance. Without your generosity and support we could not make a difference here in our community. Thank You!
